 The Dalai Lama and
the Karmapa

of Thousand-Arm Chenrezig,
We are glad to host
our second ( private ) video screening on the Dalai Lama's and
the Karmapa's pilgrimage to one of the most sacred lands of the
great Guru Padmasambhava --
This is "un-exaggeratedly"
a historic event, being the first pilgrimage to Tso Pema by a
Dalai Lama --
Not forgetting,
too, the first pilgrimage to Tso Pema by a Karmapa and a
Dalai Lama.... together !!
One sees the Dalai Lama
and the Karmapa meditating together in the secret cave
where Guru Padmasambhava and Princess Mandarava attained the Siddhi
of Deathlessness, the supremely holy giant statue of the great
Guru, the holy lake of Tso Pema, some glimpses of Drikung Ontrul
Rinpoche's monastery right beside it and this true giant
of a monument: the absolutely sacred temple where the late
Dudjom Rinpoche transmitted all the major Nyingma Teachings
in the hazardous early days of exile, thanks to which, almost all
the major Nyingma transmissions retain its vitality and lineal
blessings today --
The DVD, to
the best of our knowledge, to date, is not available on
public sale, which we acquired directly from His Holiness's perosnal
monastery in Dharamsala --
The documentary
includes one session of teaching by the Dalai Lama at Tso
Pema, wherein His Holiness covers all the major topics including establishing
the Right View of Emptiness --
